1What is Works Setu?

Works Setu is a platform that connects workers with employers in Surat and Gujarat. We provide the technology to help both sides find each other, we do not employ workers, manage salaries, or act as a staffing agency. Works Setu does not process, hold, or transfer any payments between workers and employers. All agreements and payments are made directly between them.

2Who Can Use Works Setu

You must meet the following requirements to use the platform:

• Workers must be 18 years or older and provide accurate information about their skills and experience.
• Employers must be registered businesses or individuals with a genuine need to hire workers, and must post accurate job listings.
• Both must agree not to misuse the platform, contact others outside the app for unrelated purposes, or create fake profiles.

3Worker Responsibilities

As a worker on Works Setu, you agree to:

• Provide honest and accurate information about your skills, work history, and identity.
• Behave professionally with employers you connect with through the app.
• Not create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.

4Employer Responsibilities

As an employer on Works Setu, you agree to:

• Post only genuine job listings with accurate details about the role, location, and pay.
• Treat workers with respect and comply with all applicable Indian labour laws.
• Not use worker contact details for any purpose other than the job you posted.

5What We Do Not Allow

The following are strictly prohibited on Works Setu:

• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behaviour toward any user.
• Posting fake profiles, fake job listings, or misleading information.
• Spamming users with unsolicited messages.
• Using the platform for any illegal activity.

6Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove any account that violates these terms, posts false information, or causes harm to other users. We may do this without prior notice if the violation is serious. If you believe your account was removed in error, contact us at support@worksetu.com.

7Limitation of Liability

Works Setu is a platform that facilitates connections we are not responsible for the outcome of any agreement made between a worker and an employer. We do not guarantee job placement, continued employment, or the accuracy of employer listings. Users interact at their own discretion.
